Re: Debian 9 Stretch
Volume out of my Debian box turned out to be lower than my DS. Volume level of my HD+ was only at 41 (out of 100). You can control the Volume of your HD+ (and all other DACs) using alsamixer You get a nice mixer. Using F6 you can select your DAC and adjust the output/volume of your DAC and level it ...

Re: Debian 9 Stretch
Not sure what you are trying to say here Flojo… You can check the state with this command: cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor Hi Sopper, I tried to say if you run the echo -n performance | sudo tee /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/cpufreq/scaling_governor command, that's a onetim...

Re: Debian 9 Stretch
Thanks again, Sopper. All done. Started on some additional tweaks from https://wiki.linuxaudio.org/wiki/system_configuration : on CPU frequency scaling I ran echo -n performance | sudo tee /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/cpufreq/scaling_governor as the instructions under Debian don't seem to work witho...
Re: Volumio.
Om my Stretch/MPD/Upmpdcli my Kazoo crashes when switching from b to c. Need to restart Kazoo.
Re: Volumio.
You changed that in /etc/mpd.conf i reckon? Wasnt it default 1024kb? Streaming HR files, i need 2048kb and 20% pre-buffer Yes, I changed the mpd.conf in order to see hat would happen. As you know, the Volumio UI offers the possibility 128kb, ending up in 1024kb in the mpd.conf file. Default setting...
Re: Volumio.
By the way: I configured the audio_buffer_size in MPD to 128kb, ending up in stuttering sound. Set the buffer to 1024kb: stuttering vanished.
Re: Volumio.
Great work Sopper! My Volumio/Hakai with Kazoo on IoS has been playing without issues on MPD 0.20.21 since last night. Pausing, resuming, switching from 16 to 24 bits and back in one playlist: flawlessly. Next to that: switching from one control device to another works as well.
Re: Volumio.
As a renderer using all the settings Sopper suggest. But Volumio keeps on crashing.
Re: Volumio.
Hi Sopper, thanks for the guidance. For my understanding: is this write down meant for solving issues on IoS devices running Kazoo? I downgraded from the July release to this April release applying your manual, but no luck with Kazoo on my iPad so far.

Hmm, next try... 1. Type/open msconfig 2. Run as admin 3. Select Boot tab 4. Select Advanced Options. In the following window you can check/uncheck max memory. If it's checked, you will see max memory. In that case: 5. Uncheck 6. Close msconfig 7. Reboot your LS. If not... I'll think of another opti...

In what way did you strip the OS down? Just curious since I'll probably use W7 Ultimate as well. Next to disabling all unneeded W7 services and W7 tools (100+ in my case), I did the following: Disabled System Restore Disabled drive indexing Disabled the page file Disabled Hibernation Disabled prefe...

This has got me thinking about the viability of using a multiple output decent quality variable PSU to replace all the cheap plug top PSUs in my network cupboard I'm thinking the same direction. For 2 years I bought a Chakra PSU from a M4100 as a backup should my 5103 die. Now the Lejonklou pre wil...
